Room Scans and Photos

If you choose to scan a room, Elio may process the photos you provide in order to generate reset suggestions.

Room scan photos may include visible parts of your home, belongings, furniture, surfaces, papers, or other household items. You should avoid including sensitive documents, financial information, medical information, children’s private information, or anything else you do not want processed.

Elio does not require you to scan a room. You can also use text, voice, or manual reset features where available.

Home, Room, and Task Information

Elio may collect information you enter or create in the app, including:

• Rooms and custom spaces
• Reset tasks
• Rescue templates
• Household assignments
• Completion history
• Preferences and settings

Voice and Text Input

If you use voice or text features, Elio may process what you provide in order to create reset suggestions. Voice input may be converted to text before processing.

Household Information

If you use household sharing features, we may collect:

• Household members
• Invite and membership status
• Assigned tasks
• Shared rooms or spaces

Analytics and Usage Data

We may collect limited usage data to understand how Elio is working, such as:

We do not use analytics to collect raw room photos or private household content.

Support Information

If you contact support, we may collect information you provide in your message and basic diagnostic information such as app version, subscription status, device information, and sync status. We do not automatically attach room photos to support conversations.

• Create Quick Rescue plans

4. AI Processing

Elio may use artificial intelligence services to process room photos, text input, voice transcripts, and task context in order to generate suggestions.

When you use AI-powered features, relevant information may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. This may include room photos, user-provided text, generated task context, and related app metadata needed to provide the feature.

We do not intentionally use room scans or household content for advertising.

Where possible, we limit the information sent to what is needed to provide the requested feature.

5. Photos and Sensitive Information

Room photos can contain sensitive personal information. Please review photos before submitting them.

Do not submit photos containing:

• Financial documents
• Medical documents
• Passwords
• Government IDs
• Private messages
• Sensitive children’s information
• Anything you do not want processed

Elio is designed to help with household reset suggestions, not to store sensitive records.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive your full payment card information. Apple may provide us with subscription status, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, renewal status, and related purchase information so we can unlock Plus features.

Apple’s own privacy policy applies to App Store payments.

Elio may use third-party services to operate the app, including services for:

• Authentication
• Database and cloud sync
• AI processing
• Analytics

• Subscription management

These services may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services.

• RevenueCat, if used
• Other infrastructure providers needed to operate Elio

8. Household Sharing

If you join or create a household, certain information may be visible to other household members, such as:

• Shared rooms or spaces

• Shared Rescue or reset information

Only join households with people you trust.

If you allow notifications, Elio may send reminders, task assignment alerts, Rescue prompts, household updates, or subscription-related notices.

You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Elio, operate your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the app.
